How To Wear A Hawaiian Shirt With Confidence

Wearing Beautiful Hawaiian Shirts Give you a Nice Look, and an Exotic Feel

Hawaiian Shirts

Don’t wear them like ordinary clothing however. There are certain styles and steps on how to wear them with confidence. Made from cotton and silk, the eye-catching, colourfully designed Hawaiian Shirts are very attractive and comfortable. Some people might want to wear them all the time.

Hawaiian shirts are unique and that made them very popular all over the world. Vintage Hawaiian shirts are comfortable, more than the rayon ones. Some Hawaiian shirt lovers would really dig in all places just to get one. They would even buy vintage Hawaiian shirts because they are less expensive and sometimes, the colour and design of vintage shirts cannot be found in the malls.

The first step to wearing your Hawaiian Shirt with confidence is by wearing it casually. Let your shirt hang loosely, don’t tuck it in, it will look better that way, and is much more comfortable.

If you are fond of wearing accessories, minimize them so they don’t take away from the impact of the shirt. If you’re in a festive mood, top your look off with a straw hat.

Beautifully designed Hawaiian shirts with flowers, tropical fish, and surf scenes are best when worn with neutral coloured pants, shorts, or skirts. Try to avoid mixing your shirt with patterns, it might be overkill. Khakis are a good choice because they neutralize the background of your shirt.

If you are going out dressed in your Hawaiian shirt, you may want to consider the event, or your surroundings. Of course you wouldn’t want your shirt to harm anyone; some people are very sensitive to colours and bold prints. When buying Hawaiian shirts, you may want to choose the ones that don’t have too much contrast because they may not be pleasing to other people, and some may even think you’re just out to grab attention.

If you are dressed in your best Hawaiian shirt, the most important thing to remember is to be comfortable and be yourself. You will feel fresh, free, and relaxed. Wear your shirt like you have never worn it before; be bold and proud that you are wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

Don’t Forget: The PFSC Hawaiian Night is being held on November 29th!

Halloween Safety Tips and Suggestions

Halloween is Fast Approaching. Are you ready for it?

Happy Halloween 2

Most of this advice about Halloween safety for kids revolves around trick-or-treating. First things first, know what your children are planning to do.

If they are going to a party at someone’s house, talk to the parents and make sure you know who is going, what will happen at the party, who will be supervising, and what time to expect your kids to return home. If your children are planning to go trick-or-treating, you need to sit down with them beforehand and plan out what route they will take.

General trick-or treating advice: avoid dimly-lit streets and parks, always travel in a group, carry a flashlight and wear reflective clothing to alert passing motorists, don’t enter a strange house or car. You may also want to talk with your child about his or her Halloween costume.

Make sure the Halloween costume is comfortable to walk in for several hours, provides necessary warmth, and is safe to wear. Perhaps they can bring along an extra pair of shoes if those wrapped mummy Halloween costume sandals become uncomfortable!

Lastly, talk with your children about your expectations for the time they are out and about, whether they will be at a Halloween costume party or trick-or-treating in a Halloween costume.

Warn against vandalism, animal cruelty, drug and alcohol use, cars, and other dangerous situations. Some parents even provide their children with a cell phone to use in case of an emergency.

Halloween Safety for Adults for Halloween Costume Parties

Although the following advice may be common sense, We’ll share it with you, just to be on the safe side. Halloween costume parties can be a wonderful way to get all your friends together, dress up in ridiculous Halloween costumes, eat delicious food, and dance the night away. But parties can also end poorly, both for the hosts and for the guests. Here are a few things to keep in mind.

For Halloween costume party hosts, make sure that you have provided appropriate food and drinks for your guests. You need to be aware of any allergies or dietary restrictions, and take extra steps so that everyone has something fun and festive to munch or sip.

Be sure to put your household pets in a separate room, away from the noise and energy of your Halloween costume party. Take down and put away any fragile or cherished items. Remember that a Halloween costume party can quickly become a high-spirited dance party, and you don’t want anything of yours to be accidentally knocked over or stepped on.

As for Halloween costume party guests, remember that you are a guest in someone else’s home. Be respectful of their furniture, pets, knickknacks, and everything else. Also, be careful how much food and alcohol you consume.

Please remember these tips and follow them this Halloween, because no one wants to be remembered as the Wicked Witch who danced the fox trot on the dining room table at the neighbourhood Halloween costume party!

Have Fun and be Safe!
