This program is an extension of the CanSkate Program that builds on the fundamentals learned in CanSkate.
Through a group lesson format with a professional coach, the program introduces the skater to the disciplines of stroking, skills, dance, freeskate, synchronized skating and artistic. The star program consists of level from Star 1 to Gold in most disciplines. As skaters progress they will have individualized assessments with a coach in the star program to assess their skills. An assessment sheet with be given to the skater at the end of the assessment.
Private coaching is also available after group lessons take place. If you need assistance with finding a coach please see on of our board members or coaches on the ice.
